The 3rd edition of CCPS - Middle East Process Safety Conference & Exhibition will take place from the 30th June - 1st July 2020 at the Sheraton Dammam Hotel & Convention Centre, Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Organized by AIChE’s Center for Chemical Process Safety, CCPS-MEPSC is the Middle East conference for stakeholders in the process industries who recognize the business value of process safety and have committed to process safety as a strategic priority and core value in all of their operations. Focusing on operational excellence through effectively managing risk and reliability, this event aims to define, through collective industry experience, the engineering practices and leadership traits that drive the industry to a zero-harm culture.
CCPS is a not-for-profit, corporate membership organization within AIChE that identifies and addresses process safety needs within the chemical, pharmaceutical, and petroleum industries. CCPS brings together manufacturers, government agencies, consultants, academia and insurers to lead the way in improving industrial process safety.
CCPS member companies, working in project subcommittees, define and develop useful, time-tested guidelines that have practical application within industry. The project topics run the gamut of areas important to manufacturers and range from human factor issues to qualitative and quantitative risk analysis to security vulnerability to inherently safer design. With over 100 publications to date, CCPS remains at the forefront of issues relevant to industry.
Vision 20/20, developed by the Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS), looks into the not-too-distant future to demonstrate what perfect process safety will look like when it is championed by the industry; driven by five tenets of culture, standards, competency, management systems and lessons learned; and enhanced by community passion and global societal themes.
